This Sigma-designed and patented HRV technology could make all the difference in the indoor air quality your workers and customers breathe in.
To discuss our heat recovery system installations, please get in touch with us at Sigma Engineering Product Design Ltd, serving Irvine, Glasgow, Ayr, Edinburgh and many more locations nationwide.
This unique system is so flexible and adaptable that it can combat ventilation and heat recovery issues in dirty airstreams. in commercial, manufacturing and industrial environments. The Sigma HRV supplies 100% fresh filtered air and removes contaminated air while reducing heat loss. Simply put, it makes for a healthier environment while saving you money !
Our patented technology is built on the counter-flow principle, the most effective method of heat recovery there is. It creates a clean and comfortable environment for everybody.
Your one-off investment in Sigma HRV will dramatically cut the cost of ventilating your premises. This system has made a big difference to our clients in commercial kitchens, manufacturing and industrial processes. It is, in fact, suited to any environment where cost-effective ventilation or heat recovery is required.
PROCESS DESCRIPTION
The Sigma HRV system operates on a simple counter-flow principle:
Dirty air is extracted from the process and passed through sealed passages in the heat exchanger
At the same time, fresh cold air is also passed through adjacent passages
The hot air stream gives up heat to the cold air stream
The dirty cooled air is exhausted to atmosphere.
THE RESULT
The fresh heated air is used in other parts of the process.
Both air streams are made to flow counter to each other along a tortuous, turbulent path without cross- contamination.
"We approached a number of companies to discuss our commercial kitchen ventilation requirements, however Sigma stood out by far as the most knowledgeable. They have met and exceeded our expectations from the design stage through to installation. We would recommend them to anyone looking for ventilation systems, especially with regards to commercial kitchen heat recovery.”
